Smmer Time Fun!

This is what happens when you decide to get up at 12:30 a.m. and not go back to sleep until 4:00. Jonas' molars are working their way through and he has been a nightmare at night. He wakes up screaming and then when he calms down he will either say "Jack" or "down" (dow). Jack is his favorite show, Jack's Big Music Show on Noggin. He wants to watch it. Or "down" because he wants to play. Well, it finally caught up with him. I have been waiting for this to happen. Every kid has a "sleeping in a high chair" pose.


He loves to wear our shoes and gets so frustrated when they won't go on the way he wants or when he can't walk in them. He finally got the hang of it and walked all over with Chris' shoes on. I thought it was so cute.


He has been laying down watching Jack's Big Music Show and I wanted to catch it on camera.


He loves to climb on our tables and hang his legs over the edge to swing them. He is just so darn cute.


I am so liucky to have the summer time at home with my baby!

Memorial Day

During the morning, Jonas was just playing around. He loves hats and he put this one on himself and walked around with it on that way for a while. I had to get a picture.


We went to Pecos Pool to play. Jonas loved to be able to walk around in the water freely. He kept pushing our hands away when we tried to help him. He did a face plant into the water when he bent dwon to splash the water. He was fine and he loved it.


He was so amazed at the big kids playing and he would watch them forever.


Then we went to our friend's, Brent and Keira, house for a BBQ. Jonas was quite laid back.


He is learning to use forks and spoons. Still needs a little help, but here he is eating the yummy chicken and fruit salad we had.


I realized I don't have many pictures with my beautiful son. I am usually on the other end of the camera. So, I finally get a good one of us just hanging out. I love this kid!

Mother's Day and More!

We went to my mom's house for Mother's Day brunch and ended up staying over there all day swimming and BBQing.


He loves swimming and tried to play a little pool volleyball.


He kept splashing himself and making these great faces.


Here he is in his car floaty. He loves that thing.

The next day we were at it again. My mom bought him a little floating vest and he couldn't wait to get outside. He went straight to the door and waited.

At my favorite zoo, The Wildlife World Zoo. It was hot and daddy's hat did the trick.

My first carousel ride. It went faster than I thought it would.

Working out

Already trying to stay fit. Just can't quite figure out how to use this big bicycle thing. It's fun to play with anyways.

I LOVE SPAGHETTI!!!

I am such a big boy. I eat almost anything...unless I am allergic. This is my favorite dinner. Mom makes the best food.

Easter...2 months later.

We started at church and my moms's house for brunch that morning. I will post pictures of that when I get them from Papa (Kent).

Then it was on to Chris' sister's house for dinner. Here is Jonas hunting for Eggs at Uncle Martin and Aunt Jen's House.
