More Halloween Pics

He cared more about getting in cars parked on the street than he did trick-or-treating. Typical!

At a door, waiting to rign the doorbell. Sick of the hat to the costume!

Trying very hard to "push the button" as he says. One of the only parts of trick-or-treating he really cared for.

Looking through his stash of 4 pieces of candy.

Found one he likes. He loves suckers!

Watching his favorite show Wow, Wow, Wubbzy on Nick Jr. It was a Halloween episode where Wubbzy is scared of the scary shows he is watching. Wubbzy covers his eyes and shivers and says, "I'm scared!" My son does a great impression of it as you can see.

Our Little CEO

Yet another CUTE picture of my son. What can I say...he's the cutest little boy ever!

What a nut!

Halloween 2009

Here's a couple cute pics of my little fireman. I took him to the Halloween store and let him pick out his costume. He literally went straight to the fireman costumes. Can't get my camera to download right now, but more pics to follow.

Carving pumpkins

I wanted to carve a pumpkin with him. He was very interested in scooping things out with the spoon. He did not like the goo! He kept trying to get it off or hand it to me. He did rather well though.

Carving with my cousins.

A Visit with Grandpa

Grandpa thought it would be fun to take pictures of one of many fits in action.

He was having fun feeding me the pudding. Excuse the "frumpy" look.

Whoa horsey! Was scared to death of it when he got it for Christmas, but now he almost rocks off of it.

Say Cheese! First one caught on camera. Silly boy!

Dinner with the fam. Never realize how much weight you need to lose till you see a picture of yourself.

Fun pictures

We found these glasses at Grandma Peggy's house and he wouldn't take them off. He just looked too cute to not take a picture.

Hangin' with daddy at the park.

His first snowcone!

First trip to daddy's firestation. They thought he'd be scared of the truck because a lot of kids are...we couldn't get him off. He loved turning the wheel. Now everytime we pass a fire truck he says, "Daddy car car".

SAD NEWS!

Don't know who doesn't know yet, but we lost the baby due in April. Very sad, but we found out it had a 1 in 8 chance of having a chromosomal defect. Nature took care of itself. I would much rather have had it happen the way it did.

April 20, 2010

Just thought we would tell you all...Jonas will be a big brother around April 20, 2010! I am "barfy" and tired, but very excited!
So it has been a while. School started back and it has been crazy. Here are a few recent pics I thought you might enjoy.

This is at his babysitter's (a.k.a. Keekee to Jonas). He thought this motorcycle was great. Think I have an idea for Christmas now!

His first fat lip. He was running after the cat and smacked down hard on the tile...face first. His lips were bleeding and swollen and his nose was bruised. I was a wreck as you can imagine.

If I am ever wondering where he has run off to...he is usually in the computer room messing everything up. I just thought this was a classic picture. Maybe he is a born CEO!

First Hair Cut

Ok...so...after much protest...I broke down and got my baby's hair cut. I guess it was a little out of control, but I didn't want hime to lose those precious curls. Anyways, here is his crazy mop before we got started.

They turned on Elmo in Grouchland and as you can see...he was very into it. He sat very well. Plus he thought the car seat was cool!

Good thing he loves movies. He was actually smiling during the whole ordeal. He looks like it was fun.

The only thing he did not like was the wrap they put on to keep the hair off. He hates bibs so I wasn't surprised. It was the only thing he cried about and tried to take it off several times.

Almost done!

My very handsome boy after they were done. We went to Kids Kuts and they were awesome. They gave him a certificate and put his baby hair in a baggie for me. Doesn't he look so big?

He's All Boy!

Ok, so the phrase..."he's all boy"...didn't have a lot of meaning until now. Our son has become a complete boy. He is rough and he is fearless. This was after I went to get him some more juice. In the time it took me to get to the fridge and fill his juice, he was up on the table and crying because he didn't know how to get down.

His new favorite place is on the kitchen table. I ran to the bathroom and when I was done...30 sec...he was sitting on the table emptying the salt shaker all over the place. Look at the mischevious face.

Lastly, his other favorite spot is on the swivel chair in the office. He loves to get up and play with the mouse and keyboard. This time he fell and bonked his nose on the desk. Did not cry...just did his fake little laugh and kept right on going.

Vegas Vacation

Mommy and Daddy finally got some time to themselves after almost 16 months. We went to Vegas and laid by the pool and caught up on two and a half years of sleep deprivation. We managed to go out one night and gamble a little. Here is the picture that resulted. Also, like the new hair?

I am so lucky to have the job I have. It has been a hard week as a teacher but, coming home to this is so great. I get to spend an entire two months with my kid. And days like this one make everything worth while. Jonas loves to snuggle and fall asleep. We thought this was one of the cutest pics yet!

He loves his food. But he is a big boy now, so he doesn't want any help getting it. He still needs help, but I am trying to let him do things on his own. He needs to learn somehow!

Smmer Time Fun!

This is what happens when you decide to get up at 12:30 a.m. and not go back to sleep until 4:00. Jonas' molars are working their way through and he has been a nightmare at night. He wakes up screaming and then when he calms down he will either say "Jack" or "down" (dow). Jack is his favorite show, Jack's Big Music Show on Noggin. He wants to watch it. Or "down" because he wants to play. Well, it finally caught up with him. I have been waiting for this to happen. Every kid has a "sleeping in a high chair" pose.

He loves to wear our shoes and gets so frustrated when they won't go on the way he wants or when he can't walk in them. He finally got the hang of it and walked all over with Chris' shoes on. I thought it was so cute.

He has been laying down watching Jack's Big Music Show and I wanted to catch it on camera.

He loves to climb on our tables and hang his legs over the edge to swing them. He is just so darn cute.

I am so liucky to have the summer time at home with my baby!

Memorial Day

During the morning, Jonas was just playing around. He loves hats and he put this one on himself and walked around with it on that way for a while. I had to get a picture.

We went to Pecos Pool to play. Jonas loved to be able to walk around in the water freely. He kept pushing our hands away when we tried to help him. He did a face plant into the water when he bent dwon to splash the water. He was fine and he loved it.

He was so amazed at the big kids playing and he would watch them forever.

Then we went to our friend's, Brent and Keira, house for a BBQ. Jonas was quite laid back.

He is learning to use forks and spoons. Still needs a little help, but here he is eating the yummy chicken and fruit salad we had.

I realized I don't have many pictures with my beautiful son. I am usually on the other end of the camera. So, I finally get a good one of us just hanging out. I love this kid!
